Two ways to remove data
This page is for deleting some or all of your data while keeping your account. If you want to remove your whole account as well, use the Delete account page instead.
What you can delete without closing your account
- Individual contacts you captured, including their phone number(s), name, and any details you recorded (email, birthday, address, notes, stage, event).
- The follow-up activity tied to a contact: calls, WhatsApp and SMS logs, notes, stage changes, and prayer logs. These are removed together with the contact.
- Contacts you imported from your phone's address book.
- Optional details on your own profile, such as your phone number.
How to request deletion
Option 1: Delete it yourself in the app
- Open the contact you want to remove.
- Choose Delete. That contact and its full activity history are removed straight away, and the deletion syncs to our server.
- Repeat for any other contacts. To clear optional details on your own profile, edit them in Settings.
Option 2: Ask us to delete it (some or all)
- Email 2028-privacy@benlottejnr.org from the email address on your account.
- Use the subject line "Delete my data" and tell us what to remove, for example: specific contacts, all of your contacts and activity, your imported phone contacts, or particular fields.
- So we can confirm it's really you, send it from your account email. We may ask one more question to verify ownership.
- We complete the deletion and email you to confirm, while your account stays open.
What is deleted and what is kept

How long it takes and retention
- Deleting a contact in the app removes it immediately, and the removal syncs to our server.
- For an email request, we aim to acknowledge within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
- Deleted data is purged from our systems, and backups roll off on their normal cycle shortly after; deleted data is not restored from them.
- We may keep a minimal record that a deletion happened, and anything we are legally required to retain, but not the contacts or activity you asked us to remove.
Prefer to delete your whole account?
If you want your account removed as well as your data, use the Delete account page. That removes your account and everything attached to it.
